Case Study - BPA

BPA is a leading UK pipeline consultancy providing high value technical and operational solutions to the onshore oil and gas sector worldwide.
The company currently employs about 100 people who are based in four locations in the UK. The services the company provide include conceptual/feasibility studies, project planning as well as design and project management.
New equipment
To ensure fast and efficient delivery of new systems, BPA required high-end networked office equipment which could be accessed and used by all areas of the company. After consultation with Complete Imaging, Cambridge, BPA took delivery of five colour Ricoh MFDs with full scanning, copying and printing capabilities. The equipment is positioned throughout the company and is used by all departments. Usage is monitored by the accounts department for internal purposes via the Print Facilities Manager software, and all servicing, toner replacement and meter readings are handled remotely by Complete Imaging, as part of the agreement.
Benefits
Installed in 2007, the equipment is now having a real impact on the the company’s document workflow, as Kinga Hayman, Business Development Coordinator, explains:
“The new networked MFDs are exactly what we needed. Project support documentation is now produced more efficiently. Complex diagrams, which form part of most projects’ documentation, can now be easily scanned, printed and emailed in colour. The option of running test prints allows us to verify the content and quality and correct proofs before multiple copies of documents are produced. The high copy quality produced by the MFDs further enhances the look of our documents and their versatility is of great help in a business whose performance depends on delivering to tight deadlines to the customers.”
